We are SS18 Resident Association

Back in early 2016, a handful of neighbours in SS18 Subang Jaya found themselves gathered on warm evenings beneath the streetlights of Jalan SS18/2A, swapping stories about everyday life in our corner of Selangor. They realized that, while we shared the same sidewalks and school runs, we didn’t yet have a unified voice to speak up for the little things that make a neighbourhood feel like home.

So on 3 August 2016, those neighbours turned their shared hopes into action. They filed the paperwork under the Societies Act 1966 and proudly received registration number PPM-017-10-03082016, officially creating the Persatuan Penduduk SS18 Subang Jaya (SS18 Subang Jaya Residents’ Association). From our modest headquarters at 70, Jalan SS18/2A, we began to weave individual stories into a stronger community tapestry.

Today, our association brings together homeowners and tenants alike. People who once met by chance over hedges and mailboxes now work side by side to organize block parties, improve local safety, and make sure every voice is heard when we talk with the City Council. What began as casual evening conversations has grown into a warm, welcoming network: a place where every resident can find support, share ideas, and celebrate the spirit of SS18 Subang Jaya.
